The re-launch of this meander through the nature reserve, was heralded in by the trumpeting of the South Easter.
A good blast from the Cape Doctor set the field off, along a route that included coastal scenery, fields of proteas, wide open spaces, curious ostriches and the occasional cheeky baboon.
Serious runners charged along taking just over an hour to complete the 21km’s, whilst the more sedentary jogged at bird watchers pace to enjoy the surroundings.
